Urticaria pigmentosaUrticaria pigmentosa is the most common form and is characterized by reddish-brown macules, oval or round, papules or plaques ranging in number of one thousand. Urticaria is also known as hives. This is a temporary swelling of the skin, caused by a localized collection of fluid in the dermis due to the leakage of blood vessels.
